FEATURES INFORMATION
IP Protection

IP (Ingress Protection) protection refers to a standard rating system that defines the degree of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against the intrusion of foreign objects (such as dust and dirt) and moisture (such as water). The IP rating is defined by IEC 60529 standard.

The IP rating is typically represented by the letters “IP” followed by two digits. The first digit indicates the level of protection against solid objects, while the second digit indicates the level of protection against liquids.
